One of my key things with fashion is that not only does their have to be style or an edge, but there also must be practicality.  Feast your eyes on the best combination of both, Sidewalks Are Runways.  Created by Jenny Heyside, a high school junior, this fashion blog has been standing for over a year now, featuring pictures of herself as well as high end runway shows.  I love the healthy mix of real life and fashion fantasy, finding the balance I often try to find in real life.  Recently, however, this fashionista has stepped it up a notch with her own personal blog for purchasing items as well.  I personally have two pieces on hold that I absolutely adore, one of which being a Ralph Lauren medium sweater for $6 and Topshop shirt for $15.  My recent clothes purchases have been thrifty, and this only fits in with that newfound policy.  I myself happen to know Jenny, and having seen her blog, I know that her fashion philosophies online do transfer to her daily life, and I love her for it!  If you’d like to see her blog click here and if you’d like to see her online items for sale, click here.
